What is Acclaim?

Acclaim is an online assessment of your organisation’s health & safety documentation and work activities. As an SSIP members scheme, Acclaim Accreditation supports the objectives of SSIP (Safety Schemes In Procurement) to improve health and safety standards across the UK and reduce duplication of paperwork in procurement.

To quality for tenders, a vast amount of public and private sector organisations will expect you to have a verified SSIP Accreditation and Constructionline (PAS91) Accreditation in place. By using the Constructionline portal you can manage several different accounts and manage compliance all on one platform.

You will be able to apply for other SSIP Accreditations by completing a ‘Deem to Satisfy’.

  • Once you have paid for your membership direct to the provider. You will be given a login and password. At this stage you can set Prince’s up as a contact on your accreditation portal.
  • A consultant is assigned to your company. Information and documentation will be requested from you to allow us to begin the process.
  • Your consultant will review the documentation and information provided and assess any areas that may require further attention before submission. Compliant templates, policies and/or procedures will be issued for any gaps identified to ensure your company meet all requirements.
  • Your consultant will login to the portal, answer the questions on your behalf and upload evidence e.g. documentation where required.
  • Your consultant will submit the application.
  • You receive your certificates and compliance status.
