Cancer is now the biggest killer in the rich-world and could become the world’s biggest killer within just a few decades if current trends persist.. Sadly it is a fact that 1 in 2 of us are likely to get cancer.
Bowel cancer is one of the most preventable cancers!
So many of us are uneducated and misunderstand that our life styles and choices are what causes cancer.
I have chosen to raise funds for Bowel Cancer UK as they fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care. They are here to stop people dying of bowel cancer and as a thank you for them helping save my daddies life this is my way of giving something small back. Hopefully this fundraising will go towards saving many more peoples lives too.
I hope to not only raise funds but also awareness of how to prevent cancer.
I will be self funding my trip so that all funds raised go directly to the charity.
The symptoms of bowel cancer can be subtle and don’t necessarily make you feel ill. However, it’s worth trying simple treatments for a short time to see if they get better.
